We started working with this client in February 2024. They had grown successfully over 30 years through word-of-mouth referrals and a strong client retention. But they realized they needed to improve their online presence, brand awareness, and client acquisition to stay competitive. They only had a basic website and no social media presence to show their work or engage with new clients.

Their goals:

  • Increase brand awareness and increase number of organic enquiries

Strategy 

During our first month of marketing, we worked closely with the client to understand their business goals and objectives. It is incredibly important to us to create a marketing strategy that feels authentic and aligns with the true essence of any of our clients' business. We achieve this through structured and in-depth consultations and continuous collaboration to ensure we are all on the same page. 

Our activities can be summarised in three key stages:

  1. Foundations and Online Identity:

Any advertising strategy is only as strong as the overall brand identity behind it, so step 1 is always to establish strong foundations and online identity. Refreshed the brand image, modernizing it with a consistent look and feel

Activities included: 

  • Established social media pages to strengthen the overall brand identity

  • Created a social strategy to relaunch the business online, introducing the team and highlighting their expertise

  • Optimized the website by updating the homepage, service information, photos, and keywords to boost SEO. 

  1. Implementation: 

With the foundations set, we can launch the campaign targeted towards a specific audience. The goal here is to gather data to continuously strengthen the campaign and improve results. 

Activities included:

  • Launched a localised paid advertising campaign on Meta (facebook and instagram) focusing on Lead Generation 

  • Conducted three weeks of concept testing our ads, analysing data points, and implementing optimisation strategies.

  • Implemented a referral programme.

  • Increased social proof through Google & Facebook reviews 

  1. Building on Success 

We are continuously testing and optimising our marketing campaigns to improve the quality of leads and reduce the cost per leads. Everything we do is driven by the data. 

  • Used data to inform future strategies and focused on lowering the Cost Per Lead down. 

  • Implemented educational social media strategy to establish the brand as an authority and educator in the market. 

  • Refreshed marketing assets - one-pagers, welcome packs, services information 

The Results

We track many different metrics across different platforms to monitor the success of the marketing efforts. In the case of this client, we focus heavily on Meta (Facebook & Instagram), so this majority of the data reported here is from Meta reporting. 

Our target was 15 high quality leads per month which was achieved, resulting in a total of 96 leads over the 5 month period. These results were great considering our paid advertising strategies were localised within a single region, with a much smaller audience pool in comparison to advertising nationwide.

Our marketing efforts led to a dramatic increase in Facebook reach, skyrocketing from 130 accounts to 10,000 in the first month. Organic posts and paid ads reached a large audience of over 42 thousand accounts which contributed to number of leads, but also saw an increase in brand awareness and number of organic enquiries.  

Additionally, the Facebook page was viewed 2,000 times, showing active interest from potential clients in their social media presence.
